The picture at left is from Mørsvikfjorden, Skveiren in the foreground. Several of the decendants of Peder Olsen setteled in the Mørsvik region.

The picture at right is view of the Nordfold fiord, from Alvenes towards Heldalisen (glacier). Brattfjord, where Peder Olsen moved in 1848, is located at the right border of the picture. Sandbakk, where Ingeborg and Olav Sandbakk lived, is located at the fiord in front of the glacier.
