Ole Paulsen emigrated from Norway in 1879 to Rush City, Minesota with his wife Kathrine and three children. His sisters Anne Maria, Maria Magdalena and Johanna emigrated together with him. Kathrine was born 28 Jul 1847 in Torneå Sogn in Sweeden, and they married 26 Sep 1873 in Lyngen, Troms, Norway. She died 22 Mar 1930 in Grantsburg, Burnett, Wisconsin. Ole died 25 Oct 1934 in Grantsburg, Burnett, Wisconsin.
Anne Maria married Elias M. Eliasen in 1880. He was also from Norway. They had seven children, and number four was Oscar Alfred, born 29 March 1890 in Grantsburg, Burnett, Wisconsin. In 1920 Oscar Alfred married Sebella Velmet Williamson from Badger, Iowa. They too had seven children, the last one was Byron Martin (7 Jul 1934 - 12 Feb 2009). He married Nona Jacobsen. Byron Martin and Nona had two children, Lynette Kaye and Douglas Byron Axel.
