Peder Olsen moved to Brattfjorden in 1848. Several of his decendants setteled in the Mørsvik region (formerly Nordfold muncipality). Many emigrated to the USA from here. The photo at left is from Djupvik in Kåfjord, Troms county. Paul Olsen and Rønnog Olsdatter settled here with their mother and families. The photo at right is part of Rørstad in Sørfold. The church can barely be seen, it it a woodden cross-church from 1761. For a long period of time this was the only church in the region, so everyone was baptized and buried there.
